A fairly flat piece of ground, a tent, a sleeping bag, and a nice fire are for some essential camping needs. There are others who believe basic camping needs include a star lit sky, a source of delicious clean drinking water, and plenty of time to enjoy themselves. Our recreational living may be done in cabins, or motor homes, or trailers, or large luxurious outdoor tents, or even old Army pup tents. Our gear may consist of kerosene stoves set on small tables; battery powered  lanterns hung from trees;  pots and pans over an open pit fire; any number of cooking utensils; axes, handsaws and a variety of ropes. The only thing we all have in common is making sure our camping needs are met and we are outdoors setting up living quarters on one of our favorite sites

Whether we hiked or drove to our home away from homesite doesn’t matter. If all our camping needs are in a back pack on our backs, or stowed neatly in a vehicle, it just doesn’t make any difference. What is important is we are there enjoying what certainly can be construed by many as a throughly tremendous way to experience extreme outdoor adventures. In viewing what we can consider as the world‘s most beautiful outside site, we know our true camping needs are met when life allows us the freedom of becoming one with nature any time we can leave our hectic working lives and relax under the clear blue heavens. Though the elements can change or work against us, the freedom of the outdoors will still provide us with our camping needs and a wonderful experience.

Merely staying over night will fulfill the camping needs of many while others must plan a week or more of outdoor or wilderness  vacations to satisfy the camping needs they hold inside. Some of us prefer to gather in groups and enjoy each ohers company as we satisfy our camping needs, while other relish the solitude of staying in places where the only other living creatures are the animals who already reside in the area.  Whenever the urge sets in and any time we can, we should grab our gear and head for those sites we dream of regularly  where ever they may be located throughout this wide wonderful world.  Camping amidst the trees, or along the beach shore, or high in the mountains, or even in the desert  is another of our extreme outdoor adventures which anyone can participate in if they are so inclined. It can be done on as small or as extravagant a scale as we desire. The only real challenge involved is we fulfill our camping needs and have a great time with “Mother Nature.”
